Spring may be about lighter locks and iced lattes, but one thing I never neglect is my skincare routine. While during the winter months my makeup takes on a more dramatic look, the spring and summer is all about natural: bare skin is where it’s at.
Which is why my skincare routine becomes so important.
I was 18 years old when my grandmother first introduced me to anti-aging creams.
You can never start too young,” Grammy said, and ever since then I’ve splurged on product after product.
A few days after the first use, I excitedly texted my mom and girlfriends to tell them about the products. My skin felt like it was glowing. The pesky lines I’d discovered on my forehead a few months before seemed to have disappeared over night.
For me, the warmer months are all about finding those skincare products that allow for a fresh face and minimal makeup. Nothing’s better than a moisturized face heading to the shore and taking in the sunshine.
The first sunny beach day of the season is exactly how my face is feeling these days: bright and welcoming for the day ahead.
