Hiya!

Welcome to City Brewed. We’re all about celebrating the life that happens over coffee: morning rituals, fresh-brewed inspiration, and taking a peek inside cafes near and far.

Has International Coffee Day become Christmas for coffee lovers everywhere? Maybe (or maybe not) but one thing that’s for sure is that tomorrow, on our favorite day of the year, New York coffee roasters and cafes are coming together to celebrate in style. Are you in the city? Don't miss these events.

Score $2 Flat Whites at Black Fox Coffee

Black Fox Coffee is brewing up a full day of coffee fun, with $2 flat whites all day, espresso brownie giveaways, and a free pour over tutorial at 4:30PM for those looking to brew a better cup at home.

Sip One, Share One

In honor of National Coffee Day, La Colombe has launched a single can offering of their draft latteso you can taste one, share one, and try before you buy the 4- or 16-pack. What would National Coffee Day be without spreading the (coffee) love?

Catch 'em All

Some of New York’s best coffee bars – like Toby’s Estate and Everyman Espresso – are teaming up to offer drink specials and on-site fundraising across the city, thanks to Sprudge’s Night of 1,000 Pours. The name of this game? Pokemon. Simply collect them all as signature drink specials roll out across the city. See all the drink offerings here (um Underline Coffee’s take on bananas foster…) and learn more about the fundraising efforts here.

All Aboard the Coffee Express

From 7AM – 2PM, Grand Central’s Vanderbilt Hall will transform into a European-style plaza featuring vendors selling cups of coffee for $1, as well as delicious pastries to get your snack on. Indecisive? Purchase a $5 flight of coffee to sample 4oz of each Grand Central coffee shop’s brew. Get excited and see the full schedule of events here.
