Welcome to City Brewed. We’re all about celebrating the life that happens over coffee: morning rituals, fresh-brewed inspiration, and taking a peek inside cafes near and far.

Everything has a story

I've come to appreciate details recently. The details of a story. The details of a person. As a writer, I frequently find myself acquainting the details to the story. The vintage ring on someone's finger, the necklace that screams years of exploration. Those little things are most interesting to me. They remind me that even in the simplest of outfits (which are typically my go to) there can be life. There can be a story.

Take this Jennifer Elizabeth ring, for example. It's not exactly vintage, and it may not have stories years beyond my life, but it does remind me of special little moments. Like my first apartment in the city. I received the ring in the mail as a gift, quickly placing it on my finger before even making it back to my apartment. I took it for a spin around the neighborhood, exploring the Upper East Side for the first time.
