The "New Americans"
"Don't quit your daydream."
Once upon a time in a land far, far away, a little girl would dream of a place with big lights, big dreams and plenty of coffee. She'd flip through glossies, stopping only to tag the pages of her favorite beauty spreads. The perfectly filled in brows, the natural shades of liners, the winged cat eye--she'd day dream about filling the pages of her favorite magazines, COVERGIRL stamped neatly across her photo.
It's a dream every girl has: to play dress up with beautiful makeup and perfect little dresses. Snap, snap, candid laugh, snap.
A few months ago, just one day after graduating college, I jumped in a cab and headed for the East Village. Fedora thrown on my head, I watched as we whisked by buildings and bridges. I was headed to a COVERGIRL photo shoot with Cosmo Magazine, and I couldn't help to think about how my dreams were coming true.
So here's the breakdown: myself and four other gorgeous ladies were on set with COVERGIRL's New Americans collection, each drawing our personal style. Being the laid-back, Florida gal that I am, we really played up the free spirit vibes living in my favorite oversized sweaters and felt fedoras.
For day-to-day looks, and even for evenings out on the town, I love a relaxed look. Something basic, like natural earth tones. COVERGIRL helps me achieve that look, and without all the fuss you guys know I hate. For the shoot, the lovely makeup artists used products from the New Americans collection, all items that you can use to really play up your personal style. So ladies, I challenge you to create your own look using COVERGIRL’s classic American products and share your look using #EasyBreezyStyle. Interested in some top-notch gif action?
