Hiya!

Welcome to City Brewed. We’re all about celebrating the life that happens over coffee: morning rituals, fresh-brewed inspiration, and taking a peek inside cafes near and far.

3 iced americanos to get you jumpstarted this spring

For the past few weeks, the city has been graced with little spurts of warm weather, reminding me that there is, in fact, light at the end of the winter tunnel. Sixty degree days have peaked up here and there with promise that spring is just a day away.

Quite literally. Tomorrow is the first official day of spring, and with fresh blooms and warmer weather comes iced americanos and the opportunity to retire winter's bubble jackers (not that I own one)

Today, we're sharing our top three iced americanos to properly welcome spring. Note: after actually consuming all three americanos (for research purposes) I feel as if I might conquer all spring cleaning in the course of an hour. This is not recommended.

Cafe Vita: Cafe Vita was my go-to coffee shop this summer. The iced americanos (and lattes) are always on point. If you're in the neighborhood, swing by! You won't be disappointed.

Mojo Coffee: A little escape in the West Village, Mojo Coffee has been my answer on West Side afternoons. This spring, I plan on sipping iced-anything while day dreaming from a window seat.

La Colombe: This coffee shop is probably one of my favorite sipping spots in the city. The espresso is one of those amazing jitter-inducing blends that hold a special place in my heart.
