“We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch – we are going back from whence we came…” – John F. Kennedy
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a not so secret love for road trips. The thrill of packing up the car and preparing for a long drive through some unexplored back roads brought forth a rush I can’t explain. When I got my license, I’d frequently find myself on long drives, music blaring, windows down.
Today in the “I bring you this post from” series, I'm blogging from Casa Laguna, a quaint bed and breakfast overlooking the ocean. After a mini road trip yesterday from LA to Laguna we ended up in what seems like the most beautiful place on earth. As I sit sipping coffee, breathing in the early morning air, I can't help but remember long car rides taking in cotton candy skies. From the East coast to the West coast, it never ceases to amaze me.
Last August, I took on the West coast with a road trip from LA to San Francisco. Now, I'm headed south, stopping for gorgeous views like these from Laguna to San Diego. Are you ready to come along for the ride?
