"The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever." -Jacques Cousteau
It wasn't until recently that I really understood just how much I appreciate the ocean. The constant rumble of the waves, the salty scent, even the chirps from passing seagulls--it all has a certain way of drawing you in. The sort of numbing silence when you dive beneath a wave is enough to wipe away any worries. In a sense, there's a beautiful peace that can be found in the waves.
With all of the projects I've been working on during the past few weeks (which I can't wait to share), sometimes it's nice to get behind the camera and bring some of my ideas to life. Amy agreed to model for the project, although I don't think she knew she'd be diving through ice cold waves on a semi-chilly fall day. I wanted to share some of the initial photos for the project, but I can't wait to show you guys the finished piece.
