Welcome to City Brewed. We’re all about celebrating the life that happens over coffee: morning rituals, fresh-brewed inspiration, and taking a peek inside cafes near and far.

Economy Candy; Lower East Side

I'm sure in the past year(ish) that I've been blogging, I've blown up your newsfeed (or twitter, or Instagram dashboard) about Economy Candy. Not once have I had the will power to think of something other than candy during my visits, but this time my "halloween crazy person" mode got the best of me. Out came my camera, and here comes a post.

Every time I walk into Economy (which, admittedly, is quite a bit) I feel like I've stepped into Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I usually save visits to this Halloween haven for times when good 'ol Charlie is actually on TV so that I'm not too disappointed when I've spent 20 minutes digging through candy with no chocolate factory movies to enjoy immediately after.
