“Make New Year's goals. Dig within, and discover what you would like to have happen in your life this year." - Melody Beattie
The clock has officially struck midnight, and I couldn’t be more ready to welcome a new year. 2014 seems to have a certain promise for magic, doesn’t it? I’ve never really been one for making resolutions, but it's never too late to start, I guess. Although previous years have started with gym memberships (which ended two days later) and neglected "new hobbies," I'm ready to make some new lifestyle resolutions for 2014.
This year, I’m ready to collect moments instead of things. Maybe, instead of counting every calorie, I’ll try new foods, and gain five pounds in blissful carb-overloads (sounds healthy, right?). In 2014, I want to take more risks, and celebrate even the smallest of achievements. I want to live simply, cleansing my life of the things I don’t need. I want to explore places I’ve never been, both in and out of New York City. I want to wish on dandelions, host Pinterest-inspired get togethers, and dream bigger than I ever have before.
Here’s to 2014! Wishing you all a beautiful New Year, and thank you, thank you, thank you times a million for all of your support!
