Welcome to City Brewed. We’re all about celebrating the life that happens over coffee: morning rituals, fresh-brewed inspiration, and taking a peek inside cafes near and far.

Central Park

Last year, unable to fly and pretty much stranded in the city, my mom and I decided to celebrate Christmas in New York for the first time. There weren't any decorations, nor was there a traditional holiday feast, but it was the making of an entirely new tradition.

Christmas morning was icy cold but surprisingly sunny--a welcome change from the gloomy days before it. We woke up early (after a long day of shopping on Madison) and headed to Central Park. Coffee in hand (obviously) we walked for hours, twisting and turning down trails clad with leafless trees.

How are you guys embracing new traditions?

Merry Christmas everyone!
