“One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Chesire cat in a tree. ‘Which road do I take?’ she asked. ‘Where do you want to go?’ was his response. ‘I don’t know,’ Alice answered. ‘Then,’ said the cat, ‘it doesn’t matter.’” - Alice in Wonderland
It's funny to think about plans. We've all got them: a little list of goals and deadlines. A surefire path to accomplishing your every dream. Nestled in the back corners of my bookshelf are stacks of notebooks with scribbled step-by-step plans to accomplish even my craziest goals.
While I'm definitely a type-a planner, there's something to be said about being spontaneous. Without the step-by-step guide, there's room for straying off the path and stumbling upon the new and exciting. Being even a little bit spontaneous allows for new discoveries--new adventures and hell, believing in the seemingly impossible. As a little girl named Alice once said, "I knew who I was this morning, but I’ve changed a few times since then."
